Unbound Academics matches Houston-area families with tutors across math, science, reading & writing, history, test prep, ISEE, and AP courses. As a tutor, you work directly with students we've already matched to your subject expertise and availability — no advertising, no cold outreach, no chasing down clients.

What you'll do

• ✓  Teach 1-on-1 sessions in your subject(s), in person around Greater Houston or online
• ✓  Build a learning plan around each student's actual gaps after an initial diagnostic session
• ✓  Send a short recap after every session — what was covered, what's next
• ✓  Set your own weekly availability

What we're looking for

• ✓  Strong subject-matter expertise — current or former teachers, graduate students, and subject-matter professionals all welcome
• ✓  Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• ✓  Comfortable working directly with K-12 or college students
• ✓  Reliable, communicative, and able to pass a background check

Compensation & schedule

Paid per completed session, competitive with your subject and experience level — details discussed during the interview. You choose which days and hours you're available; we only match you with sessions inside that window.
